BABY SHOWER

My good friend, Lana, insisted on throwing me a shower (even though it's our third child). I was hoping that if we were at a restaurant and it had more of a girls'-night-out feel rather than a baby-shower feel that people wouldn't bring gifts...but I was wrong :). Even though I felt silly getting gifts when we are so blessed and really have what we need, I was very grateful for the generosity and kindness of these lovely ladies. And I know there were more who wanted to be there but couldn't and I felt their love to. It was such a nice night! There is just something rejuvenating about spending time with wonderful women. Every time I go home from a girls' activity I ask myself why we don't do it more often. Maybe I need to do something about that...
