Saturday November 26th
It worked out wonderfully to be in Utah for Thanksgiving with Paige's family, and with Bryce's family as well, because we were able to bless Powell with so much family around - something we would've missed if we had blessed Powell in Washington. Even though it was a busy holiday weekend, we were able to fit Powell's blessing in on Saturday morning. We blessed him in Paige's old family ward's building and Bryce was able to have, for the first time, both of his brothers in the circle. Two of Paige's brothers were in the circle as well (we missed you, Chris), along with Bryce's dad, two of his uncles, a few cousins, and a great friend too. It was great, however we missed Grandma and Grandpa Mackay being there. We're just grateful that Grandma Mackay was able to come home from the hospital that day. Even though we weren't able to get pictures of everyone there (they all took off too quickly :), we were surrounded by so much love on this day. It was really wonderful!
Some of our best friends from law school, the Adams', live in Pleasant Grove so they were able to come to the blessing! We miss them tons so it's great to be able to see them when we come to Utah.
