April 17, 2012
Seven months old

- 3/30 - He started sticking out his tongue every time he smiles
- 4/5 - He leaned in to give Mommy a kiss for the first time
- 4/7 - He met his Uncle Chris and Aunt Jenny and three of his Forsgren cousins (Josh, Layton, and Anders) for the first time
- At the beginning of April, he started to army crawl
- He spends a lot of time on his knees and rocking
- When he's trying to get to something, sometimes he'll fall forward, but for the most part, he ends up moving backward, away from the object :)
- He loves to stick out his tongue. In fact, it's become a part of his smile most of the time
- 4/10- He picked up a puff snack and put it in his mouth all by himself
- He says "da da da da da" all the time, especially when he's happy
- He likes to play with the lotion bottle
- 4/16- He FINALLY started eating some food today. Up to this point, he has only really eaten once, and that was a whole small container of sweet potatoes. But then after that, he wouldn't eat it again. But today, around lunch, he scarfed down apple and strawberry puree, sweet potato and apple puree, and apple, peach, and banana puree (yet he hasn't loved apples by themselves :). I'm worried this kid just has a sweet tooth and that's why he won't do veggies and he won't do formula (breast milk is said to be sweet). But we're gonna keep trying. And if all he'll eat right now is fruit and infant snacks (you know, the puffs and the yogurt bites and whatnot), then we'll stuff him with those because right now, he's hungry ALL THE TIME, and wanting to breastfeed ALL THE TIME, including every two hours at night (which is worse than when he was a newborn), and even though I'm giving him all I've got, Momma ain't no milk machine and my body just can't keep up. So we're crossing our fingers that he's gonna start lovin' the solids!!
- 4/17- He took his first bath sitting up all by himself
