 4/30 Powell's crib was in our room for a few months while Bryce's sister, Kelsey, lived with us. This is the adorable face we got to wake up to every morning! This morning was the first time Powell pulled himself up to his knees so that he could look over the edge :)

Eight months old

- He likes to play with the lotion bottle
- 4/21 Went from lying on his belly to sitting up all by himself!
- 4/22 Powell made his first forward movement on his knees today! He crawled! Granted, he only moved his knees once or twice before dropping down to his belly to army crawl, but he did it!
- 4/24 Took his first bath with CJ and Mattie; CJ helped hold him so he wouldn't slip :)
- 4/25 Mommy took the kids to the park today. Mommy held Powell as she pushed Mattie in the swing and Powell thought it was the funniest thing ever! Every time Mattie swung back toward us, he laughed and laughed!
- 4/25 Powell moved a couple of more times on his knees today (we still can't seem to catch it on film :)
- 4/30 Powell pulled himself up to his knees for the first time today! He wanted to look out over the top of his crib
- He thinks it's hilarious when balls are thrown or when the kids play with balloons
- He likes to blow raspberries. Just small, subtle ones, but none the less, he likes it :)
- His sticking-out-his-tongue-every-time-he-smiles phase has passed (it lasted about a month :)
- 5/14 Pulled himself up to a full standing position for the first time (he was in his crib)
- 5/14 He was put on grass for the first time and he did not like it
