NEW BUNK BED

We've moved the kids into one room (pics of that to come later), and to our surprise, it has gone really well. In order to utilize space, we decided to get a bunk bed for the kids and CJ was so excited!

7/16 CJ's first time in the new bunk bed. We worried about him being able to get up and down ok, especially when he needs to go potty, but it only took a few times up and down for him to get it. He loves it!

7/24 When we decided on a bunk bed, Paige started looking for some new bedding. Here's CJ's new bed, on the top bunk (unfortunately, after a few returns, we're still looking for Mattie's bedding).

7/24 Mattie's first time in her new big-girl bed. She's on the bottom bunk but since she's kind of a crazy sleeper and we don't have a bed rail yet, we're currently using a chair to keep her from falling out. Classy, we know. Besides the lack of bedding and a bed rail, Mattie has been great and really likes her new bed. And CJ and Mattie are perfect for each other, or at least, CJ is perfect for Mattie. He falls asleep in about 15 minutes and can sleep through Mattie's hour or more of chatting until she falls asleep. Now if we can just get Mattie to sleep through CJ waking up at 6:30 AM, then things would be perfect! :)
