CHUCK E. CHEESE's

Saturday July 23rd

Weeks before his birthday, CJ asked if we could go to Chuck E. Cheese for his birthday party. We don't have a Chuck E. Cheese here in Wenatchee, so a party there with his friends wasn't an option. Thank goodness Papa and Gramma only live a couple of miles away from a Chuck E. Cheese so we were able to make CJ's birthday wish of going to Chuck E. Cheese come true. And even though it wasn't a party with his friends, he had enough family around, including a surprise visit from Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Mackay, and cousins, Will and Jacob, who were in town after going on a cruise. And, of course, cousin Reese made the party even more special! We didn't have a cake or candles since his big birthday party was going to be a few days later on his actual birthday, but we had cupcakes for dessert and CJ even got a few presents. It was lots of fun and CJ is now asking if we can go again when he's five. We can probably handle once a year :)
