YUP, THAT'S RIGHT...

...baby #3 is on the way!

Paige had been wanting to get pregnant again since about September, but with just moving into our new house, and Bryce just starting his new job, we wanted to wait a little while...until we at least figured out our insurance situation. It only took a couple of months to get those things figured out, so Paige was ready to get pregnant, but Bryce suggested we wait until after our much-anticipated trip to Disneyland in November (who wants to be pregnant at Disneyland??). Paige agreed. So a couple months later and here we are...guess the holidays blessed us with even more this year!

We found out on a Monday and so we had a special FHE to tell the kids. That afternoon, CJ and Mattie helped Paige make cupcakes to celebrate.

Then that night we had a Family Home Evening about families. While we were talking, we got a special phone call telling us that there was a package at the front door, so the kids ran to get it.

When the kids opened the package, this is what they saw:

We explained that Heavenly Father was sending a special gift; He was sending us a new baby to join our family. We tried to explain to them that CJ was going to be a big brother again and that Mattie was going to be a big sister and that Mommy had a baby growing in her belly. CJ instantly wanted to see it. And he kept commenting on how the baby was going to grow bigger and bigger and bigger. CJ seemed to understand, but we're not sure if Mattie got it. We asked CJ if he was excited about it and he said yes. When asked if she was excited about it, Mattie on the other hand, flat out said no :). But the picture below kinda sums up how we all feel:
