This morning I was picking things up and CJ was playing. Then out of nowhere, he looked at me and said, "Poo-pee." It's not a new word for him...he usually says it in reference to diapers, like when I'm changing Mattie or something. But today was different - he said it out of the blue. And sure enough, CJ was stinky and needed his diaper changed. Then, in case we thought it was a fluke, CJ did it again this evening! Does this mean our 22 mo. old is ready for potty training? 'Cause I don't know if I am...

Oh....you guys have fun with that!! I heard it is easier with boys though. Let me know how it goes!!
Interesting that Mandy would say that. For me, you and your sisters were ten times easier than your brothers to train. Something about aiming for the bowl. You were trained by the time you were two, your brothers, more like 27 or 28 months. Just be ready to RUN to the bathroom at the drop of a hat. :) CJ's smart, he'll catch on in no time.

Oh Paige, potty training is so much fun! I always heard boys were harder, but Luke was so much easier than Mindi was. I think it all depends on the child. But I also had this awesome book when I trained Luke on how to potty train in three days and it totally worked! He was trained by the end of the second day! Here is a link to the website where you can download the book. http://www.3daypottytraining.com/
I think it costs like $20 or somethin, but it is so worth it! And she says in her book that 22 months is the best time to train, so you are right on track to start now. Good luck!!
