MORE MARCH BIRTHDAYS

We went to Bellevue to celebrate Mattie's second birthday, but while we were there, we celebrated Paige's birthday too. On March 13th she hit a milestone: the big 3-0! Though it was a low-key celebration spent with family, Bryce made it special by not only taking her on a much needed date the night before, and waiting on her hand-and-foot the day of, but by collecting letters to Paige from a few of Paige's family members and friends. It was very sweet, and yes, it made her cry.

Our date: a super yummy steak dinner at The Keg in Bellevue. Then we saw the movie The Adjustment Bureau. May not sound like much to some, but since dates are far and few between, and we can't even remember the last time we saw a movie in the movie theatre, it was the perfect date :)

Isn't Paige too old to be getting so many birthday presents? ;)

Before we left to Bellevue for the weekend, we received a huge package, and this is what was inside! Paige's mom not only got her this tender print, but the artist actually signed and left a message on the back. Paige's mom, Norine, says this painting always reminds her of Paige and Bryce and even thinks Eve  looks like Paige. What do you think? :)

Two weeks later, we drove back over to Bellevue to celebrate a milestone in Sheila, Bryce's mom's life: she turned 50! We all surprised her at Ruth's Chris Restaurant in Bellevue. Our gift to her was a professionally bound book of letters that her family and friends wrote to her expressing their love for her (gee, wonder where Bryce got the idea for Paige's gift :)

P.S. the blond girl next to Paige is Cameron's new fiance, Amanda. They were not engaged in this photo, but a week later they were :)

Live music, great food, fun friends and family - it was a blast and we were so glad to be able to celebrate with Mom/Gramma!
