Spokane Parks and Rec department approached Gonzaga a few months ago about having an intercollegiate intramural football playoff between the local colleges, and who did Gonzaga ask to represent them? Only the oldest guys around - our very own Marmots! But don't let their age fool you - these old guys kicked some tail, and if it hadn't been for a controversial call during the last play of their last game, Gonzaga would have won the championship. Eastern and Washington State (whose teams were made up of undergrads) never saw them coming and certainly didn't expect to have to play so hard to keep up with these guys!
