Paige's mom flew up to Spokane so that she could celebrate CJ's first birthday. It was great having her here and, besides getting her purse stolen (which totally puts a damper on things, don't ya think?), she seemed to have a good trip. She helped with CJ's party, visited with close friends who live in the area, read a lot (Paige and Bryce's tv broke), babysat CJ, went out to eat, went on walks, went downtown, and most importantly, just bonded with her grandson who she doesn't get to see very often. It was so wonderful having her here and we can't wait until she can visit again (especially because she babysits so we can go out and she loves to surprise us by doing the dishes and straightening up :)!
