IT'S CALLED A SNOWPLOW!!

Okay, this is ridiculous! First, we had bitterly cold weather for four or five days. Then it warmed up, which was wonderful, but it was only in preparation for the last two days of nothing but snow! We left the house yesterday around 5:30, and one of CJ's shoes fell off. We didn't realize until we got out of the car at the store and figured we'd find it when we came home. Little did we realize that by the time we would get home that night, CJ's shoe would be buried under inches and inches of snow, making it impossible to find. We also didn't realize that NO roads would be plowed - including the freeway (are you kidding me?!)! And we definitely didn't realize, as we dragged ourselves out of our warm beds this morning at 7:00 AM, that our 9:00 AM church was cancelled (it wasn't until we actually forged the weather and got to church that we found out - at least they still had sacrament meeting), or that Bryce's law classes would be cancelled on Monday either. It's all been kind of a shock to Paige, who grew up in Utah, that all this snow is causing such a commotion. Yeah, it's a lot of snow - if you can't tell by the pics - but c'mon! For a city that actually has a winter season - this isn't Seattle, where 1/2 an inch of snow is practically considered a state of emergency - you'd think they would invest in some snowplows and salt!!

The sidewalks and bridges of the courtyard of our apartment complex have practically disappeared

Bryce drives this car to school. Good thing school's cancelled - we don't know if he would have been able to get out with all the snow behind it
